We help you make your listening practice much more efficient.
With my friend, we built a program to convert Youtube videos into Anki decks with flashcards like this one
Why?
Because, unlike with traditional apps, with our decks, you're exposed to how people actually speak in real-life situations, with all the imperfections, nuances, and natural rhythms of native speech, not carefully articulated phrases designed for learners.
Plus, with our flashcards system, where subtitles are hidden at first, you're truly training your listening skills. You'll learn to rely on your ears, not your eyes, for real progress.
That's it! Slice will convert your video into an Anki deck, which you'll be able to download and import into your Anki app.
If you want to convert a video from youtube, you can use Notube, a website that will allow you to download the youtube video as a video file.
You may convert one video for free ! You will need to create an account, but no credit card is required.
If you request to convert more videos, we will ask you for a contribution to cover the costs of running the service.
Ready?

We are two french 26 years old guys based in Paris. We both lived abroad, me in Brazil and my friend, Noé, in Morocco. When we were in these countries, we learned Portuguese and Arabic. We really loved the process of learning a new language but we both struggled with listening comprehension, that's how we came up with this Youtube to Anki converter idea that, we hope, you will appreciate.
